ESSEX FASHION WEEK!!!

This week was a build up to Essex Fashion Week. The whole Press Team was involved in this event as the Press Team sponsored The Only Way is Essex.

There was a lot of setting up to do with over 200 goody bags to fill and garments to steam.

Compared to LFW this was the complete opposite. The only fault I would give is the lack of organisation but other than that everything ran smoothly.

I was shocked to see how all the models were so orange, but then I thought "ESSEX"

Many other the garment were from New Look, Mens, Women's, Kids, Idol and accessories. it was fun and I did have a good time.

DEFO DO NOT WANT TO SEE ANOTHER GOODY BAG FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR.

1st Post

OK SOOO...........................!!!

Hey guys

This week is pretty much the usual. Daily duties such as papers, scanning, comping, image requests and showroom.

We had quite a bit of SS11 samples coming through returns so that all needed to be sorted out and put back in the right places in the showroom.

Maintenance of the showroom was being carried out this week, as well as returns back to store. Twice this week I was over at store doing returns.

Nothing interesting this week.

ANOTHER WEEK!!!

The usual duties happen every morning as per usual.

This week I was mainly in the showroom. Dismantling all mannequins, there were about 11 mannequins that were up that needed to be undressed first.

We also got new footwear samples that needed to be brought down and sorted. All the shoes with the red dots which were for franchise needed to be organised then put into totes. These shoes were for franchise which needed to be shipped off to Germany and France.

A special touch to end my week, the girls made my mum a bday card *big smile*

THIS WEEK!!!

This week was just the usual. Go through the daily newspaers each day, every morning as per usaul. Scanning in necessary mentions on New Look or articles. As well as looking after the showroom.

Press Office inbox is checked often to answer to any blue flags. Image requests can build up as a lot of people want and need images for either features in magazines or newspapers so this sometimes can take up most of the time during the day.

I spent the afternoon in-store doing returns on Wednesday with another intern. For this week that was mainly it.
