The VIP Party was sooooo much fun. Got to party with a few celebs such as Alexia Jordan, Vanessa White (The Saturdays), Pixie Geldof, The TOWIE lot and a few more. Cocktails all round, dancing and laughter.
Meet stylists, Freelancers and people in PR, which was nice to hear what they do, their experiences and how we have a great opportunity interning for New Look. (Lets hope doors will fly open. haha)
It was such a long day and night but it worth it. Would defo do it again ;-)
Overall the whole week was a very good experience and to see the collection before it has hits shop floors was amazing. It has defo opened my eyes in terms of design.

THE EMPTY RUNWAY!!!
Again the SHOWROOM! The has showroom has been empty for DAYS maybe even weeks. So as you know my skillful hands comes into good use and I get to use my creative side :-)
Right here is a pic of the showroom. THE EMPTY RUNWAY
I had started a bit and as you can see there is stuff all over the place. Arghhhhh it was hard to begin with a starting point. This is all AW11 samples which needed to be displayed. I had so many ideas that I just didn't know where to begin. I started with several ideas, then had another idea, then another, then another. I was thinking whether to colour block the runway or do a casual look, an evening look etc. So I just went with the flow and as I began to start one idea came to the next and so on. This did take me all day literally.
I get to see all the samples before it hits any stores. The cut, the shape, the style, the colour, the fabric everything down to a T and how the collection fits in. It is such an eye opener it really is.
SO after a stressful day I finished the runway in the showroom.
Everyone loved what I had done. Lots of praise and the final look looks really good. I loved every minute of it as it gets to bring out my creative side which is the only place this can happen.
I LOVE THE SHOWROOM :-) and I hope ya'll like it too coz I know they did :-p
Until next week x x x
